Itís not just the meat. I just cut it up with the bones fur and everything. Hooves and all Of that. They do still get the quail and rats and mice for her but just use this as a treat every now and again. Itís also very very lean. As far as the dirt I did pile back up dirt from another place in the enclosure. The dirt that was burying them I pushed to the side and filled the whole back in with different dirt and then thatís when she started pushing the leaves and such in there to mound it all up. I can change this tho if thatís what u suggest. And Iím not really sure if itís her protecting him from the nest or her keeping him away from her food. When I have seen it is when they were being fed. He obviously eats his share much quicker or on days when Iím not feeding him she will take hers back to her box. He smells it and I think thatís what heís trying to get. I guess I need to put this to the test. But I can move her box around pretty much anywhere in there if need be. I only say this about it possibly being the food because she never had any problem with him around the other best sights. Never once. The first one he helped mound up after I got the eggs. But I can do whatever is needed for sure. Iím not afraid of work by any means. I can also add some new dirt if need be.
