Agree on skinks. Am still in the planning stage for their big enclosure. I have some time to work on that.

I do have a “pet safe” space heater that has no hot surfaces and a low blower. I used it in the big enclosure during the coldest days last winter to boost the temps a bit and it did okay. Though I worried about the blower drying things up.

I’ve used two of those oil radiator heaters in the horse barn restroom and tack room. The only problem I ever had was one older unit leaked all the oil out onto the restroom floor (needed cleaning anyway!). I just threw it out and got another one. But those seem very safe.
